Specifications

• No matter the media, must be able to convert to a clean digital file
• Most companies prefer AI(Illustrator) or PS(Photoshop) files
• Files should be layered as much as possible
• Files should be at least 5" x 7" (plus bleed)
• Work even larger if you want to use for other products
• CMYK color mode

Incorporate Text

• Refer to research for appropriate tone
• If not a writer, keep it simple (Happy Birthday! It's Your Day! etc.)
• Manufacturers may suggest text, but it's good to incorporate your own
• Use a font or hand letter the text (Easy to read, Cohesive with the design)

• Manufacturers love if you've thought this part out yourself
